TaylorMade Men's Burner 460 Ti Driver

TaylorMade continues its long-running standard of excellence with the men’s Burner 460 Ti driver. The driver is distinguished by the company’s SuperFast technology, which reduces the total club weight to 299 grams from an average of 320, thereby promoting a faster swing speed and more drive-crushing distance. By building a driver that players can swing faster–and that delivers a higher average ball speed on mis-hits–TaylorMade has increased a player’s distance significantly from shot to shot, making it more fun than ever to bomb it off the tee. The driver’s advanced bullet-shaped clubhead, meanwhile, incorporates a far-back CG location to launch the ball high and super deep. Although the bullet shape looks sleek and slippery, the actual aerodynamics don’t affect clubhead speed. However, because the Burner looks fast, golfers gain the confidence to believe that they can, in fact, build faster clubhead speed during the swing. 1. Club is the best driver I have hit in many years. Playing companions agree that I am driving the ball straighter and much more consistant than I had been. Also the good news is that I have NOT lost any distance while being more consistant. Club appearance and specs result in a better club. Only negative is the grip was tough on the hands - switched to a WINN grip. Club purchased was 10.5 loft with “R” shaft. Currently playing to a 14 handicap.

I bought this though Amazon @ Rock Bottom Golf([...]) I couldn’t find a better price. The first time I hit it, about 20 yards longer down the middle. How can you beat that!!

  3. I love this driver. I hit the ball straighter, about 20 yards farther, and best of all my back doesn’t hurt as bad after a game. This is because the club swings itself…it has a very friendly weight distribution and sends the ball soaring. I got the 9.5 with the stiff shaft.

I bought this burner a month ago, second time on the course I had 5 >280 drives! One is on the green, another is less than 2 yards on the edge, the 3rd is about 10 yards from the…

  5. I recently purchased the Burner after having not hit driver for many years because of a slice. I must say that I am very pleased with the Burner as I have added fifty (50) yards or more as compared to the three-wood that I was hitting and my slice has not returned. I am now the envy of the other members of my standard four-some and two of them are looking into getting a Burner. The best news is that, based on my results with the Burner, I have moved up a flight in my golf league.

    Big drives
I always believed that the complaint about the “bad equipment” was just a bad golfer making excuses. With this driver, I am a believer.

    Taylor Made Burner 460 Ti
This is amongst the easiest drivers to hit that I have ever had. If this driver has an Achilles heel, it’s that you shouldn’t over swing with it.

    Taylor Burner iDriver
Although expensive, the Taylor Burner 460 Ti has improved my drives significantly and is well worth it.
